POSM Testimonial: Currently, the City of Tallahassee operates three mobile units, each equipped with POSM Pro. Our PACP certified techs go to assigned quadrants behind the cleaning crews to inspect and plot noted structural and maintenance deficiencies. POSM grades the deficiency and helps us to prioritize the work load for our repair crews.
Once inspections are complete all information is uploaded on our internal server and is pushed into our GIS program so that repair or engineering crews can click on a pipe tangent in the GIS and have access to our reports. Once repairs are completed, we have a quadrant that is cleaned, inspected, and repaired in one operation.
POSM also helps us track maintenance deficiencies in our FROG (Fats, Roots, Oils, and Grease) program and helps track needed work so that we have a better idea of what is required for upcoming budgets. POSM Server helps us maintain a database of completed work and assists with tracking our problem areas so that we can assign cleaning crews if needed at more frequent intervals.
We have come to rely on POSM for all our data collection and storage, and the tech support group has been there for us no matter what we need from simple questions to assisting with fully customizing our database to fit our needs.
